Carnival History

Over the past few years, since 2006, under the chairmanship of Gary Nunn, Wilton Carnival has grown from a few stalls to a large family event, right in the centre of Wilton. It is well thought of and well supported by the people of Wilton and surrounding area and attracts several thousand people each year.

A Community Event

This is a community event and we need as much help as possible to make it work and for everyone to enjoy the events.  Volunteers are required for everything. Lots are happening.

We are looking for people to enter the carnival possession. Get a float made, bring a decorated wheelbarrow, dress up, bring your dog for the Canine Carnival Procession, pull together a team for the tug of war challenge, take a stand on the Sunday morning Car Boot Sale.

To register your place in any of these activities or for further information please email wiltoncarnival@gmail.com.
